丹尼尔•穆勒-修特（Daniel Muller-Schott）出生于1976年，慕尼黑，德国大提琴家。曾师从沃尔特•诺塔斯（Walter Nothas）、奥地利大提琴家海因里希•希夫（Heinrich Schiff）和英国大提琴家史蒂文•伊瑟利斯（Steven Isserlis）、小提琴家安妮-索菲•穆特（Anne-Sophie Mutter）亲自指导他打基础，多亏了他后来能花一年时间跟随姆斯蒂斯拉夫•罗斯特罗波维奇（Mstislav Rostropovich）学习。15岁时，他在1992年莫斯科国际柴可夫斯基青年音乐家比赛中获得一等奖，引起了人们的关注。
